Résumé

This article examines the impact of privatizing retail stores in Hong Kong's social housing estates. It highlights the introduction of new management methods aimed at optimizing property value extraction, and leading to the degradation of the living conditions of the inhabitants of social housing estates.
Comment la financiarisation affecte-t-elle les espaces urbains ordinaires? Cet article montre comment la privatisation des fonds de commerces détenus par la puissance publique à Hong Kong a conduit à l’introduction de nouvelles méthodes de gestion, visant l’optimisation et conduisant à la dégradation des conditions de vie des habitants des ensembles sociaux
